Self-portraits
Our little family decided to visit Saltair, an old resort on the shore of the Great Salt Lake, while visiting Utah recently. The dramatic setting inspired us to pull out our cameras and take some portraits, just for fun!
A few weeks later, Jill took these photos of Garrett at Deer Park, in Washington State.
And most recently, we snapped some shots of each other while testing a new lighting arrangement with a white studio backdrop.

Ingrid & Alex Wedding
Ingrid and Alex Rodriguez were married for time and for all eternity on July 3, 2009, in Baltimore, MD at the Washington, D.C. temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jill took photos while Garrett recorded footage for their wedding video. They are a beautiful couple and everyone at the ceremony had a touching experience.
One of the great things about doing both stills and video for a couple is being able to exercise a bit more creative control than normally possible. We have worked with some great photographers who keep the creative juices flowing, but there’s something special about Jill on stills and Garrett on video. Working Woman
While in Baltimore/Washington D.C. for Ingrid and Alex’s wedding, we took the opportunity to take some portraits of Cynthia, a law student at GWU. Rigging lights and tripod in the busy metro station was a lot of fun!

Ingrid & Alex Engagement
